Why does my candle have wet spots on top?

This is called “sweating.” Sweating can occur during the shipping process. Temperature change can cause your candles to do so. This happens because the oils detach from the wax. This does not mean that your candles have low quality or won’t have a strong scent throw. What you simply need to do is clean the excess oil with a paper towel so you can burn the candle safely and enjoy their scent!

Why is my candle discoloring?

Vanillin and citrus aroma oils can cause yellowing when exposed to natural sunlight. We sometimes add a UV inhibitor to our mixes, which helps to prevent yellowing by blocking the Ultraviolet light from reaching the candle. Think of it as a sunscreen for the candle. While some of our scents do have an UV inhibitor added to them to avoid this discoloration, we highly recommend keeping your candles out of areas that are being exposed to natural sunlight.
